What is the Credit Union Advantage? 1. You are an owner. At NAFT Federal Credit Union you just don't own an account; you own a part of the credit union. That's why you are referred to as a member not a customer. The credit union is a not for profit, cooperative financial institution, owned and controlled by the people who use its products and services. 2. You pay lower loan rates and earn higher dividends. Unlike banks we do not try to make big profits, rather we return operating income to the members through lower interest rates on loans & higher savings dividends.
3. You pay lower fees. We offer less fees and offer a variety of services at little or no cost to you - the member.
4. You get extra attention. Our staff is here to help members toward financial health. We are here to answer members' questions or offer one to one counseling. We are a non-profit, service driven financial institution.
